A very wrong approach for 3D gaming

This is a free-to-play hack and slash multiplayer game. You can play it on several platforms like Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android and Google Chrome, etc.

The graphics are good, but they could be better. For the first fifteen minutes, I was very confused about what I am doing, and then get used to it after half an hour. Clearly, the opening instruction can be improved. The onscreen instruction bubbles are hard to read on mobile. As I tested it on mobile I am not sure about other big screens.

The music is not note-worthy, you will forget it after a while, but the storyline is massive. There are quests and maps to explore. Although it is not an open-world exploring game like most of the MMORPGs.

In the beginning, it’s easier to upgrade your swords, pets, and abilities, but it gets harder and the wait time increases. You can buy items instantly.

I would love to see an instruction or training session before starting the actual game. The visual storytelling lacks consistency still it is fun as you can play in a herd. Some items are only available when you are playing in a group.

Pros

  • Gameplay and graphics is good.
  • Music is OK
  • Massive story line, though looks a bit childish

Cons

  • You need to update the game a lot
  • The quest map is confusing
  • No open world to explore
  • On screen instructions are very small
  • I hate the virtual joystick

Gameplay

I wonder if the graphics could improve in the next few updates. It’s too cartoonish. The virtual joystick is sometimes laggy and you will never know where to move.

What makes the game fun is the massive storyline and the 3D world. Also, the actions are pretty simple and you do not need much time to master it, but hey when I am fighting and running I can’t move the view to 360, this is what annoyed me a lot. Why use a virtual joystick then?

I was never confused in any other RPGs, where I wonder which direction I need to go to start the quest? This was frustrating for me.

The idea of having a pet in the game is fantastic. Overall this is a fun game with a little bit of moderation needed. You can play for hours once you master the control.
