A Fantastic Strategy Game for Passing the Time

This game will take you down memory lane. You will hear the familiar names of Autobots and Decepticons.

The main reason I downloaded the game was because, as a kid, I always fantasized about becoming an Autobot one day. Not just because they are super cool robots, but because they are from another planet and can travel the galaxy.

This is not a space game. The game is happening on earth. Not like the movie series, but you can feel the heat.

If you compare the game with other city-building games, you can see a pattern. Put your base there, upgrade the weaponry, and defend it from Decepticon scams.

The bonus is that when you are playing online, you can form teams with other players and attack each other. This part is not in the original story. Many said this was a deal-breaker for them. They do not want to be attacked by other players but want to concentrate only on building and attacking the Decepticons.

I think attacking other players gives the game a new identity and widens the Transformers world. After a few upgrades, the leveling up becomes very slow, and at some point you need to buy Cybertron coins. This also hurts free players. I do not mind spending a few bucks in honor of the developers, but the waiting time and price for the upgrade should be kept to a minimum, and more ways should be introduced to get the coins.

Graphics are OK, music is sober, and gameplay is swift. One thing lacking is a proper tutorial at the beginning.
