Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade
This game was previously named as the Rise of Civilization. I liked the game then and like it now. It’s easy to play and the music, if you listen very carefully, is just awesome. You can hear the night and day time music separately.
As a strategy game, I want more from a game like this. But, this works for most of the civilization game lovers. The storyline should be improved with the graphics. Other than that this is a very nice strategy game.
Pros
- Free to play
- Vast Map
- Quality music track
- Real time fighting on the map
Cons
- You need to buy gems after the initial stage to speed-up the development process.
- Graphics can be improved a lot.
I have played a lot of civilization games. Most of them were boring and after a certain time, the progress depends on money. Otherwise, you will be attacked by stronger opponents and your upgrade process will be much slower than others.
As a result, you will spend money or lose the interest of the game.
Fortunately the Rise of Kingdoms: Lost Crusade wasn’t annoying to me at all. The game is pretty good on my mobile, runs without any problem or lag. This is a game you will come to play again and again. You also do not need to spend much money if you want to compete in the game.
Gameplay
The game starts slowly and you will get hold of it after the first hour. You have a city to develop an army to build. A nicely decorated lady avatar will describe you everything. Just follow the instructions and you will get past the first stage.
In the second stage, you need to update your civilization to a more modern one. You research and develop a strategy to attack and defend yourself. Join an alliance and do not hesitate to ask for help from your friends.
The trick is to stay on the tasks scheduled for you. Update your buildings one by one and you will shine :).
Checkout the video for the initial stage gameplay.
This is the same game from Lilith Games, which was previously named as Rise of Civilization. I do not mind the name changing as every other thing in the game is the same.
We had a review of the game earlier. This might be confusing for some old players. Check that for a few tips.
